What Happened?

According to a notice filed with the Massachusetts AG Office, NFI North was hit by an unauthorized access incident affecting its network environment. The breach occurred on or around September 6, 2025. Information exposed in the breach reportedly included names, dates of birth, addresses, Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, financial account information, medical information, and health insurance information. Affected individuals were notified by mail beginning August 5, 2026. The investigation determining which individuals were affected was not completed by NFI North until July 6, 2026. The categories of information involved varied from one person to another.
