What Happened?

According to a notice connected to its data management vendor Aesto Health, Gila Health Resources was affected by a data breach that stemmed from unauthorized access to the vendor's cloud environment. The unauthorized access reportedly occurred between December 2 and December 18, 2025, and was discovered on December 18, 2025. Information exposed in the breach reportedly included patient names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, driver's license or government ID numbers, financial account numbers, medical information, and health insurance information. Affected individuals were notified directly by Gila Health Resources. The vendor has stated that its investigation into the incident concluded in May 2026.
