What Happened?

According to a notice filed with the California AG Office, unauthorized access to the BASS Medical Group network was discovered. Suspicious activity was first noticed on or around September 4, 2026. Information exposed in the breach reportedly included medical treatment codes, billing information, and health insurance information. Affected individuals are being notified directly by BASS Medical Group. A ransomware group known as Booba Project reportedly claimed responsibility for the attack.
