According to a notice filed with the California AG Office, Apollo Global Management was hit by a reported breach that began with a social engineering attack. The breach occurred on July 6, 2026. Information exposed in the breach reportedly included full names, dates of birth, phone numbers, mailing addresses, and Social Security numbers. Affected individuals were notified by mail beginning August 21, 2026. The unauthorized access to certain cloud platforms was reported to have continued through July 10, 2026. The categories of information involved were identified on August 12, 2026, after a forensic review.
