A recent report from the Massachusetts Attorney General's office states that Xactus experienced an email security incident. On July 15, 2024, the company detected suspicious activity in their email system and immediately secured their environment while engaging cybersecurity experts to investigate.

Data breach letters were sent out by Xactus on February 14, 2025, informing affected individuals about the nature of the incident and specific data that was compromised in their case.
