A recent report from the Attorney General of Massachusetts states that the Valley Oaks Health was compromised due to a cyber security attack where an unauthorized party may have gained access to the company’s computer network. Valley Oaks launched an investigation that confirmed that an unauthorized user gained access to portions of their computer network between June 8, 2023 and June 13, 2023. The company also determined that patient information may have been subject to unauthorized access. Data breach letters were sent out by Valley Oaks Health on March 18, 2024 informing affected individuals about the nature of the incident and compromised data.
