A recent report from the Attorney General of Maine states that the Trionfo Solutions was compromised due to a cyber security attack that was discovered when the company determined that an unauthorized party accessed portions of its IT network between December 4, 2023 and December 6, 2023. An investigation was launched that confirmed that the unauthorized party accessed files containing Metropolitan Life Insurance Company and MetLife Legal Plans information that Trionfo has in its possession in connection with services it provides for MetLife. Trionfo Solutions reviewed the files to determine which consumers were impacted and what information was compromised. Data breach letters were sent out by Trionfo Solutions on August 26, 2024 informing affected individuals about the nature of the incident and compromised data.
