At Console & Associates, our data breach lawyers are closely examining the recent TriHealth H, LLC d/b/a TriHealth Physician Partners (“TriHealth”) data breach. This data breach was disclosed following a cyber security incident at TriHealth, which may have affected an undetermined number of individuals, potentially exposing sensitive personal identifiable information.

What Happened?

According to the Massachusetts Attorney General's office filing, TriHealth discovered a security breach on October 23, 2024, involving unauthorized access to legacy patient records. The incident specifically impacted older documents from "For Women," an OB/GYN group acquired by TriHealth in 2020. While TriHealth's current network remained uncompromised, the breach exposed several categories of sensitive information, including:

  • Names and addresses
  • Dates of birth
  • Social Security numbers
  • Medical claims information
  • Detailed health records

TriHealth began sending data breach notification letters to affected individuals on November 6, 2024, detailing the scope of the compromised information.
