Rödl secured its systems and launched an investigation that confirmed that an unauthorized party accessed its computer network between January 30th, 2024, and February 9th. Consumer information was accessed including data belonging to clients of Jamestown, L.P. and JT Tax Services. Rödl & Partner reviewed the files to determine which consumers were impacted and what information was compromised. Data breach letters were sent out by Rödl & Partner on August 12, 2024 informing affected individuals about the nature of the incident and compromised data.
