A recent report from the Attorney General of Massachusetts states that the Public Health Management Corporation was compromised due to a cyber security attack on May 8, 2023. PHMC detected unusual activity within its computer network prompting them to secure their network and launch an investigation. It was confirmed that an unauthorized party or parties was able to access its computer network, including files containing confidential consumer information, on May 8, 2023. Data breach letters were sent out by Public Health Management Corporation on February 26, 2024 informing affected individuals about the nature of the incident and compromised data.
