A recent report from the Attorney General of California states that the PARS was compromised due to a cyber security attack that was discovered after an email phishing attack where an unauthorized party accessed an employee’s email account. PARS launched an investigation that confirmed that between March 11, 2024 and March 14, 2024, an unauthorized party accessed emails and attachments containing consumer information.
