A recent report from the Attorney General of Montana states that the Pembina County Memorial Hospital was compromised due to a cyber security attack that was discovered on April 13, 2023, after the hospital identified suspicious activity within its computer network.  Pembina secured their network and launched an investigation that confirmed that an unauthorized party accessed its systems on March 7, 2023, and gained access to certain patient information on the Pembina network. Data breach letters were sent out by Pembina County Memorial Hospital on March 25, 2024 informing affected individuals about the nature of the incident and compromised data.
