A recent report from the Attorney General of Montana states that the Orsini Specialty Pharmacy was compromised due to a cyber security attack on January 10, 2024. Orsini was notified of suspicious activity within an employee’s email account prompting them to secure the affected email account and launch an investigation. Orsini Specialty Pharmacy confirmed that an unauthorized party had been able to access the employee’s email account between January 8, 2024 and January 10, 2024, including sensitive patient information contained within the email account. Data breach letters were sent out by Orsini Specialty Pharmacy on March 8, 2024 informing affected individuals about the nature of the incident and compromised data.
