A recent report from the Attorney General of Maine states that the One Point HR Solutions data breach occurred due to a cyber security attack that was discovered when the company identified suspicious activity within its email environment. One Point launched an investigation that confirmed that between July 3, 2023 and February 14, 2024 an unauthorized party accessed company email accounts which may have contained confidential information. One Point HR Solutions reviewed the files to determine which consumers were impacted and what information was compromised. Data breach letters were sent out by One Point HR Solutions on September 6, 2024 informing affected individuals about the nature of the incident and compromised data.
