A recent report from the Attorney General of Iowa states that the Oak View Group was compromised due to a cyber security attack. The company detected unusual activity within its computer network on November 26, 2023. OVG took its systems offline and launched an investigation that confirmed that an unauthorized party had gained access to certain parts of its IT network, including files containing confidential information related to employees of the company. Data breach letters were sent out by Oak View Group on January 10, 2024 informing affected individuals about the nature of the incident and compromised data.
