This breach was disclosed following a cyber security incident, which may have affected as many as **54,353 individuals**, potentially exposing sensitive personal information. - names, - Social Security numbers, - driver’s license numbers, - dates of birth, - health information, - diagnoses, - lab results, - medications, - treatment information, - health insurance and claims information   ## Data Breach Incident Details A recent report from the Attorney General of Maine states that the medQ was compromised due to a cyber security attack where an unauthorized party encrypted software used by medQ and hosted by a third-party data center. medQ disconnected their network and launched an investigation. It was confirmed that files were accessed by an unauthorized party between December 20, 2023 and December 26, 2023. It was also later determined that some of these files contained confidential consumer information.
