What Happened?

A recent report from the California Attorney General's website states that the Lyon Living data breach occurred due to a cyber security incident where suspicious activity was detected within the company's computer network.

The investigation revealed that an unknown party gained unauthorized access to Lyon Living's network between March 14, 2024 and March 15, 2024. During this brief window, the intruders accessed files containing confidential consumer information stored on Lyon's systems.

After discovering the breach, Lyon Management Group implemented security measures, notified law enforcement authorities, and conducted a comprehensive review of the compromised files to identify affected individuals and the specific information that was exposed.

While the publicly available notification does not specify the exact types of personal data compromised, personalized data breach letters were sent out by Lyon Living on March 28, 2025, informing affected individuals about the nature of the incident and detailing which categories of their personal information were involved in the security breach.

Steps To Take If You Were Affected By A Data Breach
