 A recent report from the Attorney General of Montana states that the Conrade Insurance was compromised due to a cyber security attack when they detected unusual activity within an employee’s email account. Conrade secured the email account and launched an investigation that confirmed that an unauthorized party was able to access the employee email account between July 14 and July 27, 2023. It was also determined that the employee’s email account contained various emails and attachments containing confidential consumer information. Data breach letters were sent out by Conrade Insurance on February 26, 2024 informing affected individuals about the nature of the incident and compromised data.
