This breach was disclosed following a cyber security incident, which may have affected as many as **261,187 individuals**, potentially exposing sensitive personal information. - names, - driver’s license numbers, - state identification numbers, - Social Security numbers, - and financial account information   ## Data Breach Incident Details A recent report from the Attorney General of Maine states that the Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance was compromised due to a cyber security attack. In October 2022, the Virginia Farm Bureau was notified by the Department of Homeland Security that their systems had been compromised. An investigation confirmed that unauthorized access occurred between October 6-16, 2022, resulting in encrypted files and potentially downloaded consumer data.
