A recent report from the Attorney General of Maine states that the Bradford-Scott Data was compromised due to a cyber security attack on July 2, 2023. The company detected unusual activity within its computer network and launched an investigation. It was confirmed that an unauthorized party was able to access part of its IT network between May 19, 2023 and May 28, 2023, including certain files containing confidential consumer information. Data breach letters were sent out by Bradford-Scott Data on March 8, 2024 informing affected individuals about the nature of the incident and compromised data.
