According to a recent report filed with the Attorney General of Maine, Autobell Car Wash experienced a "network security incident" that compromised portions of their computer network. The unauthorized access occurred during a critical week-long period between April 1, 2024, and April 7, 2024, during which confidential consumer information may have been accessed and copied by unauthorized parties. While the specific types of compromised information have not been publicly disclosed, individualized data breach letters will detail the exact nature of exposed data for each affected person. These letters were sent out by Autobell Car Wash on October 22, 2024.
