A recent report from the Attorney General of Maine states that the Association of California School Administrators was compromised due to a cyber security attack that was discovered on September 24, 2023 after the company detected unusual activity within its computer network. An investigation confirmed that an unauthorized party had gained access to the organization’s computer network between September 23, 2023 and September 24, 2024. Data breach letters were sent out by Association of California School Administrators on May 22, 2024 informing affected individuals about the nature of the incident and compromised data.
