According to the Attorney General of Massachusetts, Aramark reported a data breach after discovering that an unauthorized party created a fraudulent website on January 21, 2024, which resembled the company’s official site.
This allowed the unauthorized party to access employees’ myPay site and other sensitive information. Aramark confirmed that names, addresses, direct deposit details, and Social Security numbers were compromised.
On September 10, 2024, Aramark sent data breach notification letters to impacted employees, detailing the compromised information.
