While information on the breach is still limited, according to the [HIPAA Journal](https://www.hipaajournal.com/medusa-ransomware-group-leaks-american-renal-associates-data/#:~:text=The%20Medusa%20ransomware%20group%20has%20leaked%20data,Center%20has%20been%20affected%20by%20a%20cyberattack), a ransomware group took credit for the attack that they claimed took place on March 2, 2024. As a result, the group was able to obtain roughly 5 TB of data.
