A recent report from the Attorney General of Montana states that the Affinity Health Services was compromised due to a cyber security attack that was discovered on April 24, 2023 when the company learned that it had experienced a network security incident. Affinity Health secured its digital environment and launched an investigation that confirmed that an unauthorized party was able to access portions of its network, including files with confidential information related to current and former patients and employees. The data breach letter also indicated that Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center may have also been affected by the breach. Data breach letters were sent out by Affinity Health Services on March 18, 2024 informing affected individuals about the nature of the incident and compromised data.
